About IAC
Integrative Arts Creations is a nonprofit organization dedicated to utilizing fine and performing arts as integrative tools to promote artistic, social, emotional, and academic growth. Under the leadership of Dr. Marcy Thurmond, a highly experienced professional with over 29 years of expertise in arts education, the organization develops programs and establishes learning opportunities that strengthen cognitive, affective, social, and creative development through arts integration.
With a focus on equipping youth and community members to become successful leaders and engaged citizens within the global community, Integrative Arts Creations is committed to reversing the concerning decline in quality arts programming throughout Georgia and surrounding areas.
In addition to serving youth, IAC is also committed to supporting senior citizens through meaningful arts experiences, intergenerational engagement opportunities, wellness-centered creative programming, and community arts initiatives that encourage connection, expression, lifelong learning, and social engagement.
The organization also presents public arts programs, performances, workshops, showcases, and community events designed to increase access to the arts, celebrate diverse creative expression, and strengthen community unity through artistic engagement.
