Beyond the Talk: Let's Continue the Creative Conversation! Where Arts Integration Meets Creative Resistance
The conversation doesn't end when the presentation is over!
During the Fall of Freedom Teach-In and Creative Resistance event, we explored how visual art, music, and history intersect to tell stories, challenge perspectives, preserve cultural identities, and inspire change.
Through Dr. Lisa Whittington's artwork, A Harlem Story, featured in the reboot of A Different World, we examined how creative expression connects the past to the present and encourages us to imagine a different future.
But now, we want to hear from YOU!
Let's Talk About It!
Art as Resistance: Can you think of a painting, song, or other creative work that challenged injustice or inspired change? What made it powerful?
History Through Art: How can visual art and music help us understand historical experiences that textbooks may not fully capture?
The Power of Music: What song would you choose as the soundtrack for freedom today, and why?
A Different World: If you could use the arts to create a different world for future generations, what would that world look or sound like?
Creative Action: How can we use arts integration in our classrooms, organizations, and communities to promote understanding, unity, and positive change?
Your Voice Matters!
We invite educators, students, artists, historians, community leaders, and creative thinkers to join the discussion.
Choose a question, share your perspective, and inspire someone else to think differently.
At Integrative Arts Creations, Inc., we believe meaningful change begins with connection, conversation, and creativity.
The presentation may have ended, but the creative resistance continues!
Transforming our communities through arts integration.
